Clinical analysis of treatment of intrauterine adhesions with estradiol valerate

Objective To observe the clinical effect of using estradiol valerate in the treatment of intrauterine adhesions after hysteroscopy. Methods 69 cases in our hospital after hysteroscopic surgery application of estradiol valerate therapy patients formed the study group,and 69 cases with implementation of hysteroscopic surgery while without application of estradiol valerate in the same period formed control group. The two groups were followed up regularly to analyze the therapeutic effect,endometrial thickness,adverse reaction and conception. Results The effective rate was 94. 2% in the observation group higher than that of 59. 4% in the control group. The average thickness of the endometrium in the observation group was( 9. 7 ± 2. 7)mm,which was thicker than that in the control group( 4. 2 ± 2. 3) mm; There were 37 cases of successful conception greater than that of 19 cases in the control group. The difference between the data groups was statistically significant( P 0. 05 or P 0. 01). The difference of the data between the groups were statistically significant. among 69 patients in study group,there were7 cases of nausea after taking drugs,relatively mild and tolerated,and no serious liver and kidney dysfunction in patients were found. Conclusion The effect of the application of estradiol valerate in the treatment of intrauterine adhesions after hysteroscopic surgery is significant,which is helpful for endometrial recovery and conception with fewer side effects and worthy of clinical promotion.
