Objective To compare the clinical effect of aripiprazole and risperidone in the treatment of schizophrenia. Methods A total of 86 cases of schizophrenia patients were selected from April 2015 to August 2016 in Xuzhou Dongfang People's Hospital, which were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,43 cases in each group. Control group was treated with risperidone, experimental group was treated with aripiprazole, both groups were treated for 8 weeks. The medication compliances and PANSS scores before treatment and after treatment of 1,2,4,8 weeks were compared between the two groups. Results The control group of medication compliances was better than experimental group( P 0. 05). In positive symptoms,no statistically significant differences of PANSS scores was found between the two groups( P 0. 05); in negative symptoms, the experimental group of PANSS scores were lower than control group after treatment of 1 week( P 0. 05); in general pathological score, the experimental group of PANSS scores were lower than control group after treatment of 2 weeks( P 0. 05). Conclusion Aripiprazole has a better clinical effect in treating schizophrenia than risperidone,it can more effectively improve the positive symptoms, negative symptoms and cognition impairment of patients, but with bad compliances,so in clinical treatment,we can rational use of drugs according to the specific conditions of patients.
