Reliability Design of Cam Mechanism on the Basis of MATLAB

The cam mechanism is one of the important components of car valve mechanism. The precision and reliability of the cam mechanism is affected by its modeling precision,manufacturing error and other indeterminate factors. In this paper,the kinematic error model of cam mechanism is established on the basis of theoretical derivation to the equation of cam contour,and the reliability analysis model of the cam mechanism is also established on the strength of probability analysis of motion error in the cam mechanism. The time-varying failure probability of the cam mechanism is obtained through the MATLAB software simulation,which provides a theoretical basis and data support for the design of the cam profile in the automobile distribution mechanism.
