Artillery Battlefield Target Value Analysis Based on Evidential Reasoning

Target value analysis is the core task of artillery for processing operational information. It is an important responsibility for artillery commanders and their staff members properly to evaluate the value of targets, select targets to attack, and calculate their priorities based on battlefield target information and the combat mission. To solve the problem, this paper built the system of evaluating targets value, proposed a new approach for artillery field target value analysis using the Dempster-Shafer theory, this method synthesizes the uncertainty information together with D-S combination formula, and it was effective to improve the certainty of the information, so it changed the uncertain problem of target value analysis to certain one. The result of simulation proved the validity of this method.
