Position Servo Control of Seven-link Pneumatic Shift Manipulator for Synchronizer Test

Based on the analysis of pneumatic shifting process of synchronizer, the pneumatic control scheme and algorithm for a two DOFs,seven-link shift manipulator are proposed to fulfill its position servo control.The result of its use in automotive synchronizer test is given.It shows that the scheme has high control accuracy and a wide range of applications.
