Study on the TOYOTA Hybrid Power System with the ADVISOR

Shi Guangkui (China Automobile Technology and Research Center)  
The TOYOTA hybrid power system and its main control strategies are studied.The acceleration process and fuel economy of the PRIUS passenger car is simulated with the ADVISOR,and the results are compared with the test results.The calculated fuel consumption under UDDS modes is between4.88and5.65liters per100km,and the EPA test result is4.85L/100km;the calculated fuel consumption under HWFET modes is3.35~4.28L/100km,and the EPA test re sult is4.37L/100km.
