The Simulation of Complete Vehicle Vibration with REC Model

The modeling theory of REC(rigid-elastic coupling)model——component modal synthesis method is introduced.We apply MSC.Nastran software to establish a body FE model of a light-duty bus,and convert it into a flexible-body component of MSC.ADAMS model,and establish the complete vehicle REC model combined with chassis model.With the complete vehicle model driving on a road of class C at a low average speed,the vibration response of body is simulated,and the validity of the model is verified.Comparing the simulation results of the model with a rigid body model,the effects of REC model on the vibration response of complete vehicle are discussed.
