Research on Distribution of Contact Points Caused by Axial Contact for a Multiple-Disk Rotor-Stator System

In order to discuss the distribution of contact points caused by axial contact, a multiple-disk rotor-stator dynamic model was constructed. With a view to the complexity of the system vibration modes, the vibration displacement was orthogonally decomposed into displacements of landscape orientation and portrait orientation in the transverse section of rotor. The rotate angles of disk in relation to the two coordinate axes were deduced based on the theory of bend. The compositive rotate angle of disk was ascertained according to the rule of parallelogram. The equations of contact points coordinates and the axial contact force were presented for further studying on the nonlinear vibration characteristics of rotor-stator-system caused by different distributions of contact points.
