Development of 400-1100 nm Antireflection Film Based on Glan-Taylor Prism

In order to improve performance and increase the transmissivity and bandwidth of the Glan-Taylor prism,super wide bandwidth antireflection films for 400-1100 nm were designed and evaporated on the Glan-Taylor prism.The data refinement method was used to design multilayers.To improve the adhesion between the coating and the crystal,Al2O3 was selected as the transition layer.A multilayer antireflection coating was deposited based on electron beam evaporation and ion assisted deposition.At the same time,coating thickness and deposition rate were monitored and demonstrated by using quartz crystal oscillation.The testing results indicate that: the values of the average residual reflectance is below 1.6%.The adhesive power between the coating and the iceland crystal is well.
