Stochastic resonance process in unijunction transistor circuits

This paper examines whether the stochastic resonance process will occur in the non linear second order circuits. A unijunction transistor second circuit used as an experiment circuit was forced by a bath with a specified signal period and noise. Increasing the input noise may increase the signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the output response ( V(t) ) within the element's parameter region indicating that the periodic components of V(t) increase as the input noise increases. The relationsip between the variation of the SNR of the V(t) curve and the noise is similar to the that of the resonance. Experiment results show that the unijunction transistor second circuit is not only a chaotic system but also a stochastic resonance system. The phenomenon of stochastic resonance many occur in a chaos system.
