The characteristics of elasto-brittle-plastic softening constitutive theory and its numerical calculation

For large-scale complicated rockmass,the strain-degradiation of its macro-scopic mechanical properities is one of the princinpal factor for the increasing of deformation values.In this paper, it is assumed that the strain softening is isotropic during the stress-drop taking place.The numerical scheme for elasto-brittle-plastic constitutive integration and corresponding incremental finite element solution scheme have been proposed. Compared with the corresponding analytical solution of a typical structure,the accuracy of the numerical results obtained in this paper is satisfactory.It is appeared that the numerical integration scheme is reasonable.The computational program designed here is suitable for the mechanical analysis of the elasto-brittle-plsatic structure.
