Horizontal well bore numerical model for thermal recovery

This paper discribed a horizontal well bore numerical model coupled with a 3 d reservoir thermal numerical model. The calculated results for realistic reservoir show that the horizontal well bore numerical model reflects the dynamic performance of horizontal wells very well, and the model can optimize the well bore length, cyclics of steam hoak, perforation design etc. It provides more reliable theoretical basis for using horizontal well technology to recovery crude oil.
