Visual simulation platform for thermal power systems

Ni Weidou, Gou Jianbing Department of Thermal Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing 100084  
In order to decrease the developing time and developing cost of the thermal power system simulation, a new method based on visual simulation was discussed. This new developing platform based on Windows operating system, it integrated many new technologies in the field of computer application and thermal modeling. In this environment, the system designers of thermal power system can analyze the dynamic and static behavior of the complicated thermal power system easily. The optimization of control strategy and the test of the real control systems could be performed on this platform as well.
