Research progress of on-line detection for spatial distribution information in large-amperage aluminum reduction cells

In the development process of large-amperage aluminum reduction cells, the problems of spatial distribution and uniformity inside the aluminum reduction cell seriously interfere with the efficient control of electrolysis process. It is therefore of great practical significance to develop on-line detection methods for spatial distribution information in aluminum reduction cells. Various measurement methods and applications for side wall temperature of aluminum reduction cells are introduced in detail, and the existing problems are pointed out. The current measurement methods and applications for anode current distribution in large-amperage aluminum reduction cells are summarized in detail, and the main problems and development directions are analyzed.
