Guinea is located in West Africa, bordering on the Atlantic Ocean, with a land area of 245,857 km~2, a population of 12.6 million, and bauxite reserves of 7.4 billion tons, accounting for more than 26.4% of the world's total reserves(28 billion tons). It is known as the world's "geological miracle", the large-scale mining began in 2015, with an output of 18 million tons in 2015 and an expected capacity of more than 60 million tons in 2020. China has five large companies that have entered Guinea and won more than 5 billion tons of bauxite concessions, and the funds invested may reach more than $8.5 billion. Large aluminum companies in other countries(Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Germany, India, etc.) have also landed in Guinea to explore the bauxite. There is only one medium-sized alumina plant in Guinea in 2018, and two or three large alumina plants are under construction now. The quality of the bauxite mine in Guinea is particularly excellent, with an average alumina content of 45%～60%, a low silica content of only 1%～3.5% SiO_2, and it's shallow.
