An primary study of compliance and psychosocial factors in patients with diabetes mellitus

Objective To explore the relation in patients with diabetes mellitus compliance and psychosocial factors.Methods 60 cases of patients with diabetes mellitus were asked to score the SSRS,EPQ,compliance questionnaire,we received effective questionnaire 51 cases,by 85%.Results The compliance in the elderly was better than that in the adult (P0 05),who received health education was better than none (P0 01).Health education,age and social support were positively correlated with compliance.Conclusion Psychosocial factors directly affect patients with diabetes mellitus for compliance of treatment.Diabetes education and psychological intervention can improve patients′ compliance and quality of life.All diabetic patients will be benefited in the hospital.
