Clinical nursing care of 46 breast cancer patients in the postoperative functional exercise of the affected limb

Objective: To explore the nursing methods in the postoperative functional exercise of the affected limb of breast cancer patients. Methods: 45 postoperative breast cancer patients treated from June 2009 to May 2011 were taken as the control group and routine nursing measures were implemented in this group; other 46 postoperative breast cancer patients treated from June 2011 to June 2013 were taken as the treatment group and the patients in this group received extra nursing interventions like psychological care and the functional exercise of the affected upper limb. The rehabilitation status of the affected limb of the patients was compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the rehabilitation of patient's arm function was 97. 8% in the treatment group and 82. 2% in the control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion: The postoperative functional exercise of the affected limb can improve the total effective rate of functional recovery of postoperative breast cancer patients.
