The General Matrix for Exergy Loss Distribution in Regenerative Systems Based on Entropy Analysis

The core of entropy analysis is to get the entropy production of the process,and the number of entropy production embodies the level of the irreversibility for the process.In the regenerative systems,the main irreversible processes are throttling,heat transferring of the limited temperature difference,friction and turbulence,which will inevitably lead to the loss of power capability that is exergy loss,which can be obtained,using Gouy-Stodola correlations,by transforming entropy production created by those irreversible processes.This paper mainly discuss the exergy loss distribution of the regenerative systems.after dividing the regenerative systems into several independent systems which contains a single regenerative water heater,analyzing the systems in black-box,handling the equations by using the law of the constant flow in the water side,eventually using Gouy-Stodola correlations,the generic exergy loss distribution matrix equation is obtained.
