Effects of compound rehmannia on Ca~(2+)-ATP enzyme in mice with SAM-P/8 Alzheimer's disease

Objective To observe the influence of compound rehmannia on Ca2+-ATP enzyme in the brain of SAM-P/8 dementia mice. Methods SAM-P/8 mice were divided randomly into three groups:Experimental group,treatment group,model group. Experimental group was lavaged by compound rehmannia (2ml/day,individual). Treatment group was lavaged by donepezil hydrochloride (400mg/kg,individual),and normal group and model contrast group was lavaged by equal sodium chloride. After 3 weeks,to observe every group behavior and investigate the changes of Ca2+-ATP enzyme by Immunohistochemistry. Results Compound rehmannia improved the learning and memory ability of the SAM-P/8 mice,strengthen Ca2+-ATP activity. Conclusions Compound rehmannia can significantly improve the Alzheimer's mice learning and memory ability,strengthen the brain cells of energy,have a good relative protection and care to SAM-P / 8 mice brain neurons.
