High Module Glass Fiber Single Axis Fabric Used in 2MW Wind Turbine Blade

This paper analyzing the 2MW wind blade load and from the view of the materials,regards the ameliorating the reinforced materials characteristic as the mainly approach of increasing the blade stiffness,also integrated with mass design,test data also reported.It also discussed about the feasibility if the high module fabric as the spar cap reinforced materials by the load and static strength analysis in the FOCUS software.The test data indicates that spar cap weight declines about 21.2%,blade weight declines about 8.3%,which is very obvious.
