Lu Yu-rong, Gao Guo-dong, Chen Ai-yn, Zhu Lian-fang, (Department of Atmospheric Science, Nanjing University)  
Utilizing the data of solar radiation opserved at definite times everyday from 1958 to 1963 at 15 solar radiation stations in China and by two methods, i.e. by using eguation Qo=IoSinhO/1+fm and the correlation curve of atmospheric optical mass m and cloudless solar radiation (at clear days) Qo, we calculated the atmospheric tur bidity parameter f. Choosing the solar radiations corresponding to low, middle and high clouds with the cloudines as 10, we obtained the attenuation coefficients of solar radiation CL. Cc and Cj by the following equations CL= (Qo-QL) /Qo Cc= (Qo-Qc) /Qo Ch= (Qo-Qh) /Qo Based on the calculated results we analyzed and compared the cloudless solar radiation and the effects of low, middle and high clouds on solar radiation attenuation in China.
