A SCHEME OF CALCULATION OF HEAT BALANCE TEMPERATURE AT GROUND SURFACE

Qian Yongfu(Dept.of Atmospheric Sciences, Nanjing University)  
A new calculatioon scheme of the heat balance temperature at the ground surface and in the earth is developed and abbreviated as 'HB' scheme in this Paper. In the scheme the soil is divided into two layers, i. e. the shallow and the deep layers, the conservative law of heat is used to derive the Predictive equations of temperature at the ground surface, in the shallow and the deep layers, respectively.The scheme has evident Physical meanings and is simple, it is able to fairly describe the diurnal variation of the soil temperature and can be used in the investigntions of the effects of the sky con-ditions and the atmosphere near the surface on the soil temperature. The scheme is Proved better than the Commonly used, the force-restored method, therefore, it can be used in the GCMs and climate models.
