CAO Li-yan1,YI Dong1,TONG Yi2(1.Department of Health Statistics,the Third Military Medical University,Chongqing 400038;2.The Medical College of Kunming University,Kunming 650032,China)
Objective Research heterogeneous factors of overweight(BMI≥25)in hypertension risk assessments. Methods Make heterogeneity analysis for retrieved literatures. And make univariate and multivariate Meta regression analysis from "research time,Male-female ratio, average age, sample size,case-control ratio, longitude, latitude" factors to select the significant factors of heterogeneity. At last subgroup analysis was made according to these significant factors. Results There were some heterogeneities in the literatures(P0.05).Through single and multiple regression Meta analysis. It suggested that heterogeneity comes from "sample size","average age","study area latitude"(P0.05).After subgroup analysis, heterogeneity was reduced notably. Conclusions Large sample study could make research results more credible.Heterogeneity of overweight were mainly from average age and geographical differences of study population. So people who are in the lack of baseline data areas should actively carry out local large sample and multiple factors studies.
