The Relationship Between the Degree of Osteoporosis and the Syndrome Pattern of Kidney-deficiency in Women AfterMenopause

Objective:To explore the relationship between the degree of postmenopause osteoporosis(PO)and the syndrome pattern of kidney-deficiency.Methods:Based on a standardized diagnosis and syndrome differentiation,87 cases of PO with kidney-deficiency syndrome were differentiated and the average value of osteoporosis scoring and its standard deviation were subject to statistical analysis.Results:The degree of osteoprosis was more severe in cases with deficiency of kidney-yin and kidney-yang,and deficiency of kidney-yang.Conclusion:The cases of PO is the exhaustion of Tiangui in women.In the course of the disease,the syndrome pattern of kidney-deficiency may be changeable,but the final outcome must be deficiency of kidney-yang or even deficiency of both kidney-yin and kidney-yang.
