Study on the AgGaS_2 Crystal Growth by Quartz Ampoule Descending Method

The anomalous ethermal xpansion phenomenon of AgGaS2 crystal has been studied,which is because of the tetrahedron structured by the atoms of Ag,Ga and S distorted along with temperature.The cracking phenomenon from the anomalous expansion phenomenon of AgGaS2 crystal has been overcome by different sizes and well thickness of two-layer growth ampoule to decrease anomalous expansion effects on the crystal during step down temperature.The large size and integrality AgGaS2 crystal was obtained.
