Preparation and Characterization of Nanocrystals γ-AlOOH via Microwave Hydrothermal Method

Single-phase nanocrystals γ-AlOOH were prepared by microwave hydrothermal method using Al(NO3)·9H2O and en(1,2-ethylenediamine) as raw materials.The products were characterized by XRD and TG-DTG.The results indicate that γ-AlOOH with the average crystallite size of about 8.5 nm could be synthesized at 200 ℃ for 20 min.Higher temperature and longer reaction time can results in larger crystallite sizes,smaller latticeconstants and better thermal stability for r-AlOOH.
