Nanometer crystal zinc oxide was prepared with ethanol supercritical fluid drying technique.The wear resistance and load carrying capacity of the oil were improved and friction coefficient was decreased through taking proper quantity sorbitol monostearin dispersant to add 500SN base oil.The nanometer zinc oxide has an optimum adding quantity,excessive zinc oxide can result in a decrease of maximum non-seized load of the oil.The nanometer zinc oxide in the oil took effect by its deposition on rubbing surface.
