Design and realization of information service system for GFS precipitation forecast

Application of mid-term precipitation forecast information issued by Global Forecast System in reservoir flood control and regu- lation needs to set up multi-users' and real-time interactive precipitation forecast system.Fully taking use of ripe open source dotware,such as GeoServer,GWT framework,and Web GIS,Ajax etc.technologies,the functions of data input,station inquiry,multi-conditions statistic,real- time renewal of meteorological data etc.are realized,not only supplying overall precipitation and statistical law information for decision-maker,but also easily integrating with basin precipitation and runoff forecast system.
