Research on abnormality criterion of concrete dam cracks based on gray cusp model

Crack stability analysis for concrete dam is a significant content of dam safety monitoring.Combining the traditional statistical model and mutation theory,the time-dependent deformation of crack is extracted by traditional statistical model,based on which,a gray cusp catastrophe model for crack is established,and the abnormality criterion for crack is obtained.Taking two dam projects as examples,we use the abnormality criterion to conduct a crack stability analysis.The research results are well consistent with practical monitoring data,verifying the effectiveness of the presented method.
