A SDN-based Insurance Mechanism of Qo S in WLAN

With the development of mobile Internet, wireless mobile traffic is growing exponentially, especially HD video, which brings great challenges for the network load and network bandwidth. Wireless LAN, especially the rapid development of WIFI technology can meet this demand, but there are also some WIFI performance bottlenecks. So how to use limited resources to provide users with better access experience has become a hot topic. Meanwhile, SDN has attracted the attention of more and more network researchers. Therefore, this paper introduces SDN and applys OpenFlow into WLAN, enabling wireless access point programmable. Then this paper proposes a mechanism for implementing Qo S insurance on a programmable access point. And the key technologies are virtual slice and twice level virtual slice. Finally, this paper develops the Qo S insurance application based on Pox, and ultimately validates the feasibility of the scheme through experiments, ensuring the user's access experience with limited resources.
