Design and Implementation of Extinguishing Function of Unity 3D Virtual Fire Fighting Training System for Ships

In view of the particularity of ship fire causes, the limitation and danger of fire training, a ship virtual fire training system is constructed for crew to carry out effective man-machine interactive fire fighting training. The system uses 3 dsMax to build ship engine room, fire extinguisher and other models, and employs Unity 3 D engine to develop ship virtual fire fighting training software. Particle system simulates the occurrence and extinguishing of ship fires of various causes, and the C# language is used to realize the human-computer interaction function. The results show that the virtual system basically summarizes all types of fire on ships. Through training, the crew can quickly make judgments and effectively extinguish the fire. It assures nearly 100% safety in the virtual training process.
