A Study on Children Left Behind

In recent years, while floating populatio n continues to increase in size, children left behind attracts more and more attention. However, little is known about these children. Using data from the 2000 population census, this paper describes the basic characteristics of the children left behind: their size, structure, distribution, family, and educational status.
