Influence of Using Different Way of Strengthening on Restoration of Member Carrying Capacity

The technique of reinforcing concrete beam by cementing steel plate is a popular method for structure reinforcement. In order to compare the effects of different cemented material on the carrying capacity of structure, the paper selects three different cemented materials of steel plate, epoxy resin plate and glass fibre fabric to test the component that has lost carrying capacity. The outcome shows that all the materials for reinforcement have basically meet the requirements, the carrying capacity after reinforcement all has been increased to different levels comparing with original component and the incremental range of the capacity of steel plate and epoxy resin plate is greater than that of glass fibre fabric.
