A study on the Coupling of Urbanization and Atmospheric Environment in Guiyang

It is a common responsibility and aspiration of mankind to build a living environment of "azure water, green river and beautiful city", and the atmosphere plays a vital role in the construction of human settlements. The study of the coupling evolution of urbanization and atmospheric environment in Guiyang has important practical significance for the construction of urban ecological civilization.By constructing a comprehensive index system of urbanization and atmospheric environment, and using the coordination development model to quantify the coupling relationship between urbanization and atmospheric environment in Guiyang during the past 1999-2014 years. The results of this paper show: the comprehensive index of urbanization of Guiyang maintained stable development momentum;the comprehensive index of atmospheric environment is on the rise, and the time series can be divided into stable growth phase and fluctuation growth phase; the atmospheric environment subsystem presents an evolutionary trend of fluctuation growth; the coordinated development degree of urbanization and atmospheric environment in Guiyang is in a linear upward trend and the the coupling type is gradually changed from the obvious maladjusted type to the good coordination type.
