Numerical Analysis of Factors Having an Impact on the Wall Temperature of a Membrane Water wall

By using a finite difference method a numerical calculation was performed of the temperature field distribution of membrane water walls with rectangular fins and fillet welded fins. Concerning the above two kinds of finned tube waterwall the influence of such factors as fin size, heat flow density, working medium heat exchange factor on wall temperatures are analyzed. Also discussed is the relationship between tube pitch and allowable wall temperature. Moreover, pertinent calculation procedures were worked out. All of the above may serve as reference information for the design and operation of boilers.
