An Improvement on the Method of Matrix Analysis of a Power Plant Thermal System

/Guo Minchen, Wang Qingzhao, Wei Nan, Wang Jiaxun (North China University of Electric Power Engineering)  
On the basis of analysing the features of power plant thermal system heat balance series solution the authors have come up with a heat balance equation expressed in terms of a complete matrix, indicating the corresponding relationship between the various items and system structure. The power plant thermal system may be treated as a summation of a regenerative cycle with auxiliary steam/water systems and the summation is expressed mathematically as the sum of all matrix terms in the heat balance matrix equation .Also given in this paper is a detailed interpretation of the physical meaning of each term in the structural matrices of various systems.
