Selection of pump adjusting mechanism for rehabilitation of Yanhuan stage 1 pump station

QU Wen-xing (Ningxia Hydro Investigation & Design Institute, Yinchuan750004, Yinchuan, China)  
Yanhuan stage 1 pump station is the water source station of Yanhuan Yellow River water lifting project. Since stage 2 pump station has large variation of discharge, one unit in stage 1 pump station is transformed to adjustable vane pump to meet the dispatching requirement of stage 2 pump station and facilitate operation management. In connection with the practical project, the pump regulating mechanism is briefly described and analyzed in comparison.
