Characteristic Analysis of the Mud-rock Flow and Land Slip in Heavy Disaster Area on May 12th Wenchuan Earthquake in Sichuan Province

By analyzing the starting and ending time,special coverage and variation,relationship with the rainfall,the mud-rock flow and land slip of severe China Wenchuan Earthquake area from 1991 to 2003 are studied.And the coverage of dammed lake caused by the earthquake is calculated by statistic methods.The new findings of spatial characteristics and variation,excessive happening period of time,concentrating happening period of time,starting and ending time and happening postions and relationship with the rainfall are gotten.The article indicate that the land slip of the dammed lake caused by the China Wenchuan Earthquake easily lead to large area happening mud-rock flows.The article will offer scientific means to anti-earthquake and rebuilding in the earthquake area.
