Preliminary Explanation of Seismoheritage Landscape of the Wenchuan Ms 8.0 Earthquake

GUO JIAN-Qiang(Regional Geological Surveying Team,BGEEMRSP,Shuangliu,Sichuan 610213)  
The Wenchuan Ms 8.0 Earthquake on May 12,2008 resulted in extremely serious destruction.The seismoheritage is widely distributed and is of great scientific,ornamental and tourist values.This paper deals with classification,protection and development and utilization of the seismoheitage landscape resources.An idea for establishing a three-level protection system taking the Longmenshan National Geopark and Museum of the Ruins of the Beichuan Earthquake as cores is put forward.
