Objective To measure the parameters of respiratory organ of KM mice and tolerance to intratracheal injection. Methods We group KM mice according to the body weight, and then have intratracheal injection of different doses of physiological sodium chloride solution to the different groups. Then we observe their response to different doses and the LD50 within 24 hours and measure the parameters of respiratory organs of the suvival mice afterwards. Results The weight groups of KM mice are: 18.0~22.0 g,22.1~26.0 g,26.1~30.0 g,and 30.1~34.0 g.The corresponding LD50 are: 2.449 mL/kg,3.811 mL/kg,4.556 mL/kg,and 4.333 mL/kg.Conclusion The tolerance dose per unit mass to intratracheal injectionis is proportional to the body weight of the KM mice until the body weight is equal to or greater than 26.0 g when the tolerance becomes stable.
