Dynamic changes of soil algae biomass under different slope position on the path side slope

The dynamic changes of soil-dwelling algae biomass on different slope position and the difference of soil-dwelling algae biomass compared to tea plantations and natural slope were researched on typical slopes alongside the Chengdu-Kunming railway in hills area of Sichuan province. The result indicated that the soil-dwelling algae biomass in roadside slope followed the sequence of upper slopemiddle slopelower slope tea plantations, while different order was showed as upper slopemiddle slopelower slopetea plantations in natural slope. The algae biomasses in the soils in lower slope, middle slope and upper slope were 2.18, 2.16 and 1.48 times of that in tea plantations soil, respectively. On the three roadside slope positions, the soil-dwelling algae biomasses increased from January, and reached the peak value on July, then reduced right through until October. Organic matter content in the soil showed a sequence of natural slopetea plantationsroadside slope.
