Coarse Signal Processing for AC Voltage Smart Sensor

To obtain voltage RMB and initial phase angle of AC voltage,which are important characteristic parameters but difficult to test,two methods of coarse signal processing for AC voltage smart sensor are proposed based on error LMS and correlation analysis theory.They are compared and analyzed with the traditional coarse signal processing approach according to definition of AC voltage characteristic parameters.Experiments are carried out and the results show that if anyone of the presented methods is utilized,the processing time is reduced by at least 50%,or test error of voltage RMB is decreased about three times,or noise amplitude can be permitted from less 5% to more 15% of signal amplitude.Therefore,improvement of test performance such as real-time and test precision,system simplification,and cost reduction are resulted in without any additional overhead in hardware or other compensation.
