EARLY SELECTION OF NEW CLONE IN WILLOW

A new trial plantation of young clones propagated from selecting super seedling of second generation was eastablished through collecting free pollination seeds in clone plantation of willow of 5 year-old. The study proved that the variation ofseedling population is very rich, the possibility of selecting out super seedling is greater.Now preliminarily, rapid good clone N4.2, N2.2, B1.3 and B1.1 are selected and relativecoefficients of some characters are caculated.
