REMOVING FLUORINE FROM THE DRINKING WATER USING ELECTRIC COAGULATION METHOD

The mechanism of removing fluorine from the drinking water using electriccoagulation method was studied in this paper. Three factors, electric current density,ratio of Aluminum expense, and current effectivity were studied through local experimentsunder recent typical high-flouorine underground water conditions. The results showed:current density should be 21 A/m~2, ratio of aluminium expense 15.1 g. Al/g-F~-,current efficiency 68% when fluorine content in resourse water was 4.52 mg/l. Theproject of removing fluorine technology from water using above mentioned three factorswill agree with the government standard of water quality.
