TREATMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL WASTEWATER BY THE SYNERGISM OF TiO_2 AND ACTIVATED CARBON

In TiO_2 fixed film photocatalytic reactor ,the feasibility of the addition of activated carbon and Fenton agent was studied .This system was proved to be most effective for CODcr removal and the decrease of reactor time than others. At pH=3, [H_2O_2]=12mg/L, [H_2O_2]/[Fe~(2+)]=20,AC=10g/L, the wastewater reached the first class standard of the national industrial discharge.
