ADVANCES OF PRE-RESERVOIRS TECHNOLOGY FOR NON-POINT SOURCES POLLUTION CONTROL

Analysis of the water pollution caused by non point sources in China and the counter measures for its control were introduced.The principles and application of the pre-reservoirs on non-point sources pollution control were discussed in the paper.Although the pre-reservoirs technique has a wide future,some obstacles were calculated for its application in pollution control.Finally the combination between pre-reservoirs and other technologies will be a representative for non-point sources control.
