APPLICATION OF ELECTROCHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY IN THE OIL FIELD WASTEWATER TREATMENT

Electrochemical workstation is used to measure Polarization curve to determine Oxygen evolution potential and Chlorine evolution potential.With the comparison of oxygen evolution potential chlorine evolution potential and the service 1ife between Ti-substrate Ti/Ru-Ir-Ta electrode and Tisubstrate Ti/Ru-Ir electrode,it is found that the former has stronger corrosion resistance than the latter according to the test.Because residual chlorine induces strong corrosion to pipelines,we should choose the appropriate current density and electrode distance to reduce the residual chlorine concentration.
