Studies on Effects of S-3307 Applied to Seeds on Leaf Growth of Wheat

FAN Gao qiong, YANG Wen yu, XIONG Qing e (College of Agriculture, Sichuan Agricultural University, Yaan 625014, Sichuan, China)  
The effects of S-3307 (Uniconazole) applied to seed with different concentrations (0, 5, 10, 20, 40, 80mg/kg) on leaf growth of wheat c.v. Chuanmai30 and Chuanmai-107 were studied. The results show as flows: S-3307 treatments decrease the length and leaf area of the first to the ninth leaf, while it increases the length and leaf area of the flag leaf and the reciprocal second leaf. The main stem leaf area for S-3307 treatments in Chuanmai30 and Chuanmai-107 has no significant difference from that of control except the higher treatments. S-3307 increases the amount of main stem leaves, Chuanmai30 has more 1.1 leaves than that of control, Chuanmai-107 has more 0 8 leaves than that of control.
