Electrocatalytic Oxidation of Ascorbic Acid at Modified Electrode of Erichrome Black T

Glassy carbon electrode modified with Erichrome Black T was fabricated by electrochemical polymerization.The modified electrode was applied to determination of ascorbic acid(AA) and characterized via cyclic voltammetry(CV).The resulting electrode showed excellent electrocatalytic activity towards oxidation of AA in 0.1 mol·L-1 phosphate medium at pH 6.0.Good linearity was obtained in the concentration range of 1.0×10-5~2.0×10-3mol·L-1 with a detection limit of 1.0×10-6 mol·L-1 under the optimum operations.Moreover,the resultant electrode combines characteristics of simple preparation,fast response and facilitated use.The studied electrode has been applied to the analysis of ascorbic acid samples with good results.

1 Acrobic acid (Vc) can activates the hemoglobin-catalyzed reaction between hydrogen peroxide and L-tyrosine.There is a determinate linearity relation between fluorescence quenching degree and concentration of ascorbic acid.Under the optimum conditions the linear range of Vc is 0.8-25.6 ug/mL.The relative standard deviation is 4.25%.The detected limit is 0.0112ug/mL.the interference of the common irons is investigated.The method is applied to real samples with satisfactory results.;Study on the determination of ascorbic acid of drink by kinetics fluorescence quenching[A];[C];2007
