Study on Ultraviolet Spectrophotometry Determination of Caffeine in Cola Drinks,Tea and Chocolate Samples

WANG Bi qin, ZHENG Ya xi (Department of Chemistry, Sichuan Normal University, Chengdu 61006 6, Sichuan)  
Ultraviolet spectrophotometry met hods were used for the defermination of caffeine in a number of cola drinks, tea and chocolate samples. The average recovary and relative deviation were 99.28% ~100.6%, 0.14%~1.03%, respectively. The satisfactory results were obtained.
